One of the best new additions that Elden Ring made to the familiar Souls formula is the introduction of the Spirit Ash Summons. Players can call upon these summonses to aid them in certain situations, with some even coming with their own unique side quests for players to complete in the journey to becoming Elden Lord. One of these quests involves the character of Latenna, an archer that needs your help to get back to her home up in the mountains above the Lands Between. This guide will explain how to complete Latenna’s questline in Elden Ring.
How To Complete Latenna’s Questline In Elden Ring
Step 1: Meet Latenna The Albinauric
To begin Latenna’s quest, you will first need to find her. The Albinauric Archer can be found at the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack in Liurnia of the Lakes. You will need to make your way through the Lakeside Crystal Cave, and beyond the Bloodhound Knight fight found within. After defeating the Knight, continue through the cave until you come across the Shack. Latenna will be sitting with her wolf, Lobo. To get her to join you, you will first need to get the right half of the Haligtree Medallion from Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics. he can be found just past the perfumer enemy, disguising himself as a pot. Hit the pot and exhaust his dialogue to get the first half of the Medallion. If you talk to Latenna with the Medallion, she will ask to join you. Saying yes will allow her to become one of your Spirit Ashes and officially begin her quest.
Step 2: Find Both Halves Of The Haligtree Medallion
The Haligtree Medallion is important to Latenna’s questline because you need the entire thing to get to the Consecrated Snowfields, which is where her quest finishes. To get the other half Haligtree Medallion, you will need to complete Castle Sol, which is found in the northern part of the Mountaintop of the Giants. Once you have the Medallion complete, return to the bottom of the Lift of Rold, the lift you used to get to the Mountaintop of Giants and select “Use Secret Medallion.” This will take you to the Consecrated Snowfields. NOTE: Players are reporting that getting this half of the Medallion before getting Latenna as an Ash Summon will lock you out of her quest as when you go to the Slumbering Wolf’s Shack, she will already be dead. You will still be able to get her as a Summon but not continue her quest.

Step 3: Travel To the Apostate Derelict And Summon Latenna
Once you are able to access the Consecrated Snowfields, you are going to need to travel to the northmost part of the area, just to the northwest of the town of Ordina, Liturgical Town. This is where you will find a ruined church called the Apostate Derelict as well as a large Albinauric woman. Approach her and at a certain distance from her, you will be prompted to summon Latenna. Exhaust all of her dialogue to complete, and she will give you a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, which can be used to level up your unique weapons to their highest level, +10.
