The new action RPG of FromSoftware, Elden Ring, is vastly beyond what anyone could have imagined when it was announced. The game is filled with many monsters, foes, and NPCs with short and long questlines. One of those NPCs is Kenneth Haight, with one of the great questlines in the game. How to Complete Kenneth Haight’s Questline in Elden Ring
Kenneth Haight is located in one of the earliest areas of the game, Limgrave. Travel to the north of Mistwood Outskirts and look for a voice calling for help. You can find him upon a large piece of debris. Even though this area is available from the beginning, there are some demi-human enemies that could cause you problems.
Talking with Kenneth will give you the main objective of your quest which is taking back his fort. It is recommended to listen to all of his dialogues since he provided some lore and detail about the Tarnished and Godrick the grafted.
The castle is located on the coast, south of the Mistwood, exactly where Kenneth said. Fortunately, there is a Site of Grace nearby the castle so make sure to go there first. The castle contains many enemies so bear in mind to not get overwhelmed by the enemies. Then try to avoid the arrows from above, because they cause a great deal of damage.
Since you will be facing too many foes, the best option is to utilize Spirit Ashes, or ranged combat such as sorceries, incantations, and arrows. Once you got inside the castle be careful of exploding barrels coming your way.
On the upper floor you will face the commander, the invader Kenneth sent you to destroy. The commander is not a boss but can be tough to beat. His weakness is the backstab, so lock onto him and try to attack from behind as much as you can. After you defeat the commander, collect items and go back to Kenneth.
Once you come back to Kenneth, he will award you with the Erdsteel Dagger and also offer you to become his knight. If you accept his offer, you can return to the fort and speak with him again. He says he is searching for the true lord of Limgrave since he is no longer worthy of that title.

To complete the final steps of Kenneth’s questline, you must have first completed the storyline of Nepheli Loux, another NPC you can find in Stormveil Castle. So for the quest Kenneth to be completed, you should keep some points before completing Nepheli Loux’s quest.
In the quest related to Loux, she will ask you to give her a potion, but you should not give it to her, since she will meet an untimely end. After this, she will feel unworthy and sad. To help her overcome this sadness you need to find Stormhawk King. If you have done the previous steps of Kenneth’s questline, and give the Stormhawk King item to Nepehli, Kenneth will inform you that he has found the true ruler for Limgrave.
