The Hermit Village is one of those must-visit locations in Elden Ring. This treasure trove is found southeast of Mt. Gelmir, and you can reach it by first traveling around the volcano by starting at the ravine west of Wyndham Ruins. If you follow it all the way around the Seethewater Terminus site of grace in the northwest and then head south to Craftsman’s Shack, you will see the village in the east.  Reaching there can earn you great rewards, including Hierodas Glintstone crown and the Errant Sorcerer set.  Like other Elden Ring guides, this Hermit Village Walkthrough guide will show you how you can claim these valuable items.

Hermit Village Walkthrough

The Hermit Village is overrun by a group of Demi-Humans and their queen; these won’t pose much trouble for you as you loot the dilapidated streets.  The first of the treasure trove — the Hierodas Crown — can be found on the southeastern end of the village behind a house. You can loot the crown from a corpse located there. There is also a piece of the Errant Sorcerer Set by the door of the adjacent house; the entire set can be found in a nearby shack.

These weapons are life savers. For example, the Hierodas Glintstone Crown is an armor that increases a player’s intelligence and endurance, although this comes at the expense of FP.  The crown also protects the player’s head with its defensive properties. The entire Errant Sorcerer Set, which comprises the Errant Sorcerer Robe, The Errant Sorcerer Manchettes, and Errant Sorcerer Boots, all improve a player’s defensive capabilities. All of these items can be found in the Village and will help with vanquishing your enemies.

As you make your way to the end of the village, your presence will trigger the Demi-Human Queen Maggie. Defeating her will be an easy task but watch out for the sorcerers coming to her aid from afar. After crushing your enemies, it’s time now to interact with the Primeval Sorcerer Azur. He will grant you the Comet Azur sorcery, and showcasing this to Sellen will allow you to continue in her questline.
