Complete Heretical Rise Walkthrough In Elden Ring

Heretical Rise is a tower found in the area known as the Mountaintop of the Giants. You will reach this area using the Lift of Rold after beating Morgott, The Omen King, found within Leyndell, The Capital City. Once at the mountaintop, you will want to head northeast of the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook site of grace. Continue moving northeast along the cliff until you reach a broken bridge facing Heretical Rise. What might appear to be nothing more than a ravine after the broken bridge actually holds an invisible path leading ahead for you to follow. Keep your eyes on the ground as a faint white mist indicates the way forward. Pay attention to your left as the path diverges first left and then forward, curving around to the right like a spiral staircase. To be sure, you can take things slow, use rainbow stones that you can toss on the ground to see the path in front of you and look out for players’ messages where there would be solid ground.

Elden Ring: How to Get to the Mountaintops of the Giants

Once inside Heretical Rise, you will have to face a few mannequin enemies as you ascend the tower towards the apex. You will find an elevator at the top of the staircase, which will take you up to one last spiral staircase where a final mannequin enemy will be in the way of you and your loot. After advancing to the top, you will find a lone chest in the central tower, inside of which you will find the Heretical Rise main loot, the legendary sorcery called the Founding Rain of Stars. You have now cleared the Heretical Rise and can continue to explore the rest of the snowy Mountaintop of the Giants zone.
