With more than 17.1 million copies sold, Elden Ring still gains new fans daily. You would be hard-pressed to find a more decisive Game of the Year contender than FromSoftware’s most recent action RPG, given how consistently it has been in the Steam rankings since its release in February. So, what does say the Elden Ring DLC rumors, and how soon will we be visiting the Lands Between?

Elden Ring DLC Rumors Point to Fall 2022

Giving a precise release date for when we could see the game release some DLC is quite challenging, given that neither the publisher nor the developer has officially confirmed any Elden Ring DLC. It is feasible to offer fans a rough release timeline for the game’s first DLC update by comparing it to FromSoftware’s previous DLC releases.

Dark Souls 3, published in April 2016, was the most recent Souls game. The Ashes of Ariandel, the first DLC for that game, was made available in October 2016. The Ringed City, the second and final DLC, was made available in March 2017. This may imply that Elden Ring will feature two DLC collections, the first of which would arrive 6-7 months after the original game and the second six months afterward. So, Elden Ring DLC may be released in the fall of 2022.

Does Elden Ring DLC About The Divine Towers?

The positions of the Elden Ring Divine Towers on the Elden Ring map seem to cluster around one central area, as several fans have observed. Surprisingly, the Erdree is not the focal point of these Tower sites but rather a shadowy overcast place amid the sea.

Although we cannot determine its exact meaning, some gamers have speculated that it would be revealed as a new DLC destination to explore.

Badlands and Lands Between

On the other hand, according to a leak, the Badlands will be a new destination in the first Elden Ring DLC. We’ll soon be traveling out of the Lands Between and into the Badlands beyond the fog. The Badlands are a territory outside of the Lands Between and the location to which the Tarnished were sent after Godfrey/Horah Loux “lost his grace” and his position as the first Elden Lord will be remembered by Elden Ring players.
