Some of the most significant aspects of Elden Ring are all the different discoveries gamers will make throughout the world, one of which is the mysterious towers around the world. They give the prompt to find beasts in order to break a magical seal on the door. In Liurnia, one tower is located in the southwest of the map called Chelona’s Rise and requires gamers to seek out three wise beasts. How to complete Chelona’s Rise Puzzle
First Wise Beast
Luckily, players don’t have to go too far to begin their quest. The first wise beast is a giant spirit tortoise that can be found along the edge of the cliff near Chelona’s Rise in Liurnia. Gamers simply have to shoot it once with any long-range weapon to knock it off and complete this phase of the puzzle. A bow might be preferable since it’ll give fans the easiest angle to shoot it at a distance. If players didn’t bring one with them, a small part of the cliff stands directly above the tortoise to knock it off with an overhead attack.
Second Wise Beast
The second wise tortoise can be found by following the cliff’s edge out towards the east. Players will know they are on the right track when they find normal-sized tortoises roaming the forest. Standing below the gamer on a cliff, this wise beast can be shot with a bow and arrow.
It should be noted that there are a couple of different possible Elden Ring glitches that can happen with this part of the puzzle. Sometimes, the seal to the door might open right after hitting this second tortoise, and players can go back immediately. However, some players have experienced difficulty getting this tortoise to spawn. One way to make sure it’s there is to avoid fast traveling to this location or dying before getting there, as it will somehow break the puzzle and prevent the tortoise from spawning.
Last Part of Chelona’s Rise Puzzle
The last wise beast can be found north of Chelona’s Rise. The tortoise will be hovering in the air, and gamers can either shoot it with an arrow or go through it with the spiritspring jump below. Unfortunately, another possible glitch can happen where this tortoise doesn’t spawn either. Luckily, going through the spiritspring jump will work to open Chelona’s Rise, whether or not the tortoise is actually in the air.
Once all 0f the wise beasts are found, a notification should pop up that says, “The seal on the rise opened.” Go back to Chelona’s Rise and open the chest at the very top to unlock Ranni’s Dark Moon spell from the chest. This Legendary Sorcery will make gamers’ efforts worthwhile for completing the Chelona’s Rise walkthrough for Elden Ring.
