Caelid Catacombs is a Dungeon in Elden Ring located southeast of the Cathedral of the Dragon Communion in South Caelid. This Dungeon features several low-tier Grave Glovewort and two Spirit Ash Summons — Miranda Sprout Ashes and Kindred of Rot Ashes. One distinct characteristic about the Miranda Sprout Ashes is that it consumes HP to be summoned, similar to the Mimic Tear. While neither the Summons nor the Gloveworts are particularly noteworthy, Tarnished aiming to complete their Spirit Ashes collection will appreciate a visit to Caelid Catacombs. However, one challenge adventurers might run into is finding the hidden lever for the boss chamber.

How To Complete Caelid Catacombs In Elden Ring

To complete Caelid Catacombs in Elden Ring, Tarnished adventurers must locate an illusory wall concealing the lever used to unlock the boss room. Players can find this mechanism by going to the end of the Dungeon and facing the boss chamber. Make a 180-degree turn and strike the wall of the column in the previous room to reveal the lever.

Defeating the Cemetery Shade in Caelid Catacombs will reward players with the Kindred of Rot Ashes. As for the Miranda Sprout Ashes, these are hidden behind another illusory wall on the way to the boss room. To find it, investigate the wall on the right beneath the arch in the room with the Giant Poison Flower. Strike the surface to expose a tiny hidden alcove with a Poison Flower and the Miranda Sprout Ashes. However, be mindful of the Poison Flower ambush that will occur after picking up the Spirit Ashes.

It should be noted that the halls of Elden Ring‘s Caelid Catacombs are filled with liquid rot, causing those who traverse through the Dungeon to be quickly inflicted with Scarlet Rot. To counter this environmental hindrance, players are recommended to have Preserving Boluses on hand before exploring the Dungeon or memorize the Incantation, Flame Cleanse Me, at a Site of Grace.

Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
