Where is the Apostate Derelict?
The Apostate Derelict Site of Grace is located on the northern edge of the Consecrated Snowfield. Follow the map image above to pinpoint its exact location. You will visit the Consecrated Snowfield later in the game after defeating Morgott, the Omen King. After reaching the Consecrated Snowfield, summon torrent and head north. You will eventually come across the northern tip of the frozen lake. This is where players will find the Death Rite Bird boss, who drops Explosive Ghostflame upon death. Players will find the Ordina Liturgical Town by traveling southeast from the Apostate Derelict in Elden Ring.
The Apostate Derelict Site of Grace is essential to complete Latenna’s questline. Here players will find Phillia, Towering Little Sister. Summoning Latenna in front of Phillia will complete the quest and reward players with a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. Although there are no enemies at this location, you will find a Walking Mausoleum nearby. This Mausoleum fires magical artillery and can demolish players quickly. We recommend defeating the Mausoleum before touching the Site of Grace.
Most players visit the Apostate Derelict in Elden Ring to find the Death Rite Bird boss and complete Latenna’s questline. The Death Rite Bird is an optional boss, and this creature only spawns during the night. If you fail to find this boss, visit the Site of Grace and pass time till its nightfall. Interestingly, you will find this boss in several other locations on the map. After completing Latenna’s questline, players can head towards Miquella’s Haligtree to face Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Malenia is one of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring, and players will need proper preparation before facing her in-game.
