Elden Ring‘s inclusion of a map is a brand-new feature for a Souls game and is a much-needed tool to traverse the wide and sprawling world of the Lands Between. The thing about this map is that you need to find pieces of it for the map actually to display a region. Before you find it, your map will be a blank page. The first area you are in when you enter Elden Ring is Limgrave, so you must know where to get the map fragments for the region to get your bearings before you face the challenges of the world. This guide will show you where to find all the map fragments for the Limgrave region in Elden Ring.
All Limgrave Map Fragments In Elden Ring
There are three map fragments found throughout Limgrave, all of which are for a different region of the starting zone. The first one you are likely to come across is the Limgrave West map since it is on the way towards Stormveil Castle, the location that Sites of Grace point you towards. The first map fragment is found in the Gatefront Ruins against the landmark pictured below. It shouldn’t be too hard to get it, just don’t aggro the entre camp while you’re at it, or you will be in for a rough encounter.
Elden Ring: Where to find the Patches Boss Fight
Limgrave: East can be found within Mistwood. Head to the east of the Gatefront Ruins until the path splits into two paths. Follow the path that goes north towards the Third Church of Marika. You should be able to see a mist-laden forest to your right. You will find the map here. On the map, you will see a little reddish symbol on the map that is the map location.
Finally, the last map fragment for Limgrave is for the southern region called the Weeping Pennisula. To reach this area, you will need to head back to where the path split earlier and then follow the southern path. Keep going south and cross the Bridge of Sacrifice, then follow the road towards Castle Mourne. You will find a group of enemies on this road, so be careful, but if you continue down the path, you will find the map on the side of the road.
Elden Ring is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
