Across Elden Ring, you’ll discover numerous dragons with varied difficulties. Some aren’t too hard to take down, while others … well, you would do best arriving prepared.
You don’t have to battle every dragon since some are optional, but it’s worth confronting them. Many dragons in Elden Ring drop handy loot like Dragon Hearts. With Dragon Hearts, you can trade them at the Church of Dragon Communion so you can get some Dragon Incantations, useful tools for your Mage build.
