There are plenty of fun secret areas within Elden Ring that gamers can explore. Aside from the immense legacy Elden Ring dungeons, tons of mini-dungeons with extra gear and abilities can help players throughout their journey. Ainsel River, located at the bottom of one of the well elevators in Liurnia, is a prime example of one of these dungeons. Plenty of formidable enemies spread throughout, and multiple diverging paths can confuse gamers. So for fans looking to easily navigate through it, here is an Elden Ring Ainsel River Walkthrough.

Ainsel River Guide

Ainsel River Well Depths

Let it be known that there are tons of great items located through different paths in this area. However, this guide will focus on the best path forward to the end of the dungeon for lost fans.

Starting from the beginning Aisnel River Well Depths site of grace at the base of the elevator, head west through the pathway guarded by the ants. After them, make a right turn down the tunnel past the patrolling ants and go down the right-hand path in the room with the pile of dead bodies.

Players should find themselves in a new room with a massive stone structure containing an elevator. Walk up the stairs on the right to the top and activate the grace site at the end of the hallway. After that, take the elevator down to the bottom into the “Uhl Palace Ruins” room.

Uhl Palace Ruins

For the second part of the Ainsel River Guide, instead of going through the large doorway with the torches, walk through the small cave on the right-hand side. This is important when dealing with a sniper enemy in the next room. Once through the cave, crouch and carefully navigate around the spear enemies. There will be a large skeleton enemy with a long-range gravity spell that will continuously pelt gamers from a distance.

To get close enough to damage the skeleton, fans should find the fallen column and run up it. Be sure to find cover to protect against the Elden Ring gravity spell, such as the large stone tower to the left of the column. At the top, run along the rock path on the right to be able to fight the monster at close range. When beaten, this monster luckily won’t spawn again.

Once this is done, jump down south and keep going down the path, following the small river, activating the next site of grace. Keep going down the path until there is a room filled with more ant enemies. Turn right and head down that path until there is another fork in the path. From here, make a right turn to enter the boss room.

Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella

This Elden Ring boss fight is no joke, and unfortunately, players won’t be able to use their steed for this fight. It is recommended to fight with long-range spells for this fight. During the first phase, the boss uses its long arms to lunge at players from great distances. In the second phase, the boss will sprout wings and start using electric attacks, throwing bolts of electricity into the water. Gamers should notice the sparks in the water before they get hit and run away from the dangerous area. Once this boss is defeated, fans will end the Elden Ring Ainsel River Walkthrough and be rewarded with the “Frozen Lightning Spear” ability.

Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
