After watching this Netflix series, fans rushed to Steam to check if Cyberpunk 2077 was on sale, but to no avail.
According to the website SteamDB, Cyberpunk 2077 typically goes on sale starting around the 12th of each month, although the price occasionally drops on the 8th. Although the game did go on sale directly as Edgerunners launched on September 12th, there have been no sales since that date. This is an unfortunate fact for fans who arrived late to the Cyberpunk party, as they must either shell out $60.00 or wait for a sale of $30.00.
This delay in sales might be intentional. On October 25th, Steam will be releasing its annual Halloween sale, granting considerable discounts on several popular games. Since Cyberpunk 2077 was included in the 2022 Steam Summer Sale at a discounted price of $30.00, history will likely repeat itself. Fans of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners can likely expect the game to go on sale during the Halloween sale starting on October 25th and lasting until November 1st. Until then, we can all listen to the show’s incredible soundtrack on repeat.
