Mortal Kombat X originally released back in April 2015 for PC in addition to its console counterparts, but from the very start the PC port was riddled with problems. This was made even worse upon the release of Mortal Kombat XL earlier this year, which completely skipped PC, but now it’s looking like it may actually come to PC after all.

The PC version of Mortal Kombat X did receive the first batch of four DLC characters last year, but the second group that included the likes of Alien, Leatherface, Bo’ Rai Cho, and Triborg were never released for PC as either Kombat Pack 2 or part of a combined Mortal Kombat XL. This greatly frustrated PC gamers that wanted to check out this lineup of fantastic characters, especially with most believing that NetherRealm had just given up on PC entirely for the game.

Ed Boon however has done some teasing in more recent times that made it sound like Mortal Kombat XL for PC might be a possibility still, and now he has done so yet again.

Through his official Twitter account, Boon tweeted the following:

“Maybe we should Karry eXtra Long People who Care?”

This tweet on the surface just seems really odd, but if you look more closely at the capital letters, some of which are randomly placed, it spells out “MKXL PC.” Boon has been known to troll some in the past, but making posts like this would just be cruel if there is no payoff in the future. If this does indeed exist, the question would be if NetherRealm themselves would be handling the port after High Voltage’s abysmal attempt.
