Last night, NetherRealm Studios Creative Director Ed Boon initiated a Twitter poll asking fans what they would like to see next from the studio. He provided four options, most of which were the usual titles. Fans are weighing in their votes from a possible Injustice installment to the Marvel vs. DC pipe dream. In fact, the poll is still live! Keep reading on to find out more about Ed Boon and his trending poll.

There’s Still Time to Vote for Your NetherRealm Preference

Ed Boon has a very active Twitter account where he’s always engaging in posts. A good majority of his tweets involve Mortal Kombat jokes and references, with the commonplace meme to boot. But for his most recent Twitter poll, Ed Boon asked players, “What do YOU want to see from NetherRealm Studios next?” He then proceeded to list four distinctive titles circling their radar, as well as the fans. The list includes Injustice 3, Marvel Game, Marvel vs. DC, and Next Mortal Kombat. Evidently, these are only working titles with the possibility of becoming a reality.

As of this writing, the results have been leaning toward the Marvel vs. DC option. It currently stands at 41.2%; Next Mortal Kombat is right behind with 27%; the Injustice 3 choice is in third with 20.5%; lastly, the Marvel Game is hanging on with 11.3%. With 135,540 counted votes, fans have only less than 8 hours left to select from the list.

The Marvel vs. DC possibility has been on players’ minds for a while. It would make itself an instant hit, with both comic book properties fighting it out. We’ve experienced Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe in the past, and we still have two Injustice games to fall back on for another entry. However, many questions about copyright agreements and licenses will have to come into play if Ed Boon and NetherRealm wish to pursue a Marvel vs. DC title. Only time will tell in this case.

You have several hours from now until the poll closes! Be sure to cast your votes!
